MSU Soccer Park

The home for the Red Hawk men’s and women’s soccer teams, MSU Soccer Park at Pittser Field opened in 1998 and has served as the host for many conference and NCAA Tournaments throughout the years. From 2007-2013, it was the training site for the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer and saw several transformations during that span. FieldTurf replaced the grass surface in 2009 and lights were installed in 2012 allowing night matches to be played. In 2017, the Red Bulls’ United Soccer League affiliate club, New York Red Bulls II, moved in necessitating another expansion to keep the facility in line with stadium standards set by the United States Soccer Federation. Seating capacity was expanded to 3,000 seats in 2017 with another 1,500 added the following year raising the total seating to 5,000. In addition, new locker rooms were built adjacent to the playing field.
