OFFICIAL SITE OF RED HAWKS ATHLETICS

Yogi Berra Stadium

Named after New York Yankees Hall of Famer and baseball legend, Yogi Berra Stadium has home been the Red Hawks baseball team since the 1999 season, with a permanent seating capacity of nearly 3,800 that expands to nearly 5,000 with lawn seating along the right field line. The stadium, complete with a scoreboard and video display in the outfield, pays homage to Berra, a longtime Montclair, NJ resident. The park's dimensions are 308 feet to each of the corner outfields and 388 to center field done on purpose as an honor for Berra, who famously wore the No. 8 during his playing days. Adjacent to the stadium is the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center, which features various baseball memorabilia from Berra's playing days and a reconstruction of the original scoreboard from Yankee Stadium among various items. The facility underwent a renovation in 2023-24 that saw upgrades and changes to various parts of the facility. For a full overview of the changes, click here.
