OMAR BOOTHE added 13 along with seven rebounds as Montclair State knocked off FDU-Madison, 66-50 in the third-place game of the Point Construction Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday.

BEN MARTINEZ went 4-for-4 from behind the arc and totaled 14 point as the Red Hawks squared their record at 1-1.
Thomas scored 13 in the first half, including five in a 12-4 run to finish off the first 20 minutes. JOEY MATIAS connected on the next trip down giving the Red Hawks a 29-24 advantage heading into the locker room.
A three-pointer by Thomas early in the second half boosted Montclair's lead to 38-28 and the lead grew to 16 points (48-32) on a Martinez three with 11 minutes to go.
Martinez hit back-to-back three's, Thomas a jumper and Boothe a dunk when Montclair State took is largest lead at 66-40 with 5:34 to play.
