Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State men's and women's swimming team dropped a dual meet with Drew University at the Panzer Pool on Tuesday evening. Both teams fell to 2-6 at the women dropped a 113-81 decision while the men lost 134-65.

COLLEEN GRIFFIN (Bloomfield, NJ/Lacordaire Academy) broke here second pool record of the year as she set a new standard in the 50 freestyle (25.11) Griffin, who holds the 100 backstroke pool and school marks, also won th 100 freestyle with a time of 55.63. REGINA POTOCNIE (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) was also a double winner for the Red Hawks. Potocnie won the 200 freestyle (2:03.29) and 500 freestyle (5:37.01).

On the men's side, EDDIE FERNANDEZ (Jersey City, NJ/St. Joseph's WNY) posted victories in the 200 individual medley (2:11.88) and 200 breaststroke (2:32.63).

Montclair returns to action on Wednesday, January 16th against College Misericordia at the Panzer Pool. The dual meet begins at 7:00 pm.
