Newark, NJ - The Montclair State University men's basketball team recorded its third win in four games with a 69-55 triumph at Rutgers-Newark on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

The Red Hawks led, 29-22, at halftime, and by as much as 16 points in the final 20 minutes en route to avenging a 45-40 home loss to the Scarlet Raiders back on Nov. 20.

Junior guard JOSEPH THOMAS (Linden, NJ) paced the MSU attack with 17 points, while sophomore forward HAROLD WILLIAMS (Jersey City, NJ) posted 11 points and a team-high 15 rebounds in a game the Red Hawks led from the start.
