Upper Montclair, NJ (10/08/02) - Junior outside hitter Kristen Wieme (Paramus, NJ/Paramus) collected 16 kills and 16 digs as Rowan University overpowered Montclair State, 3-0, in New Jersey Athletic Conference women's volleyball action at Panzer Gymnasium on Tuesday evening.
The Profs swept the match by scores of 30-8, 30-12 and 30-18. Senior Lori Staszewski (Voorhees, NJ/Sterling) added 11 kills and 11 digs for the Profs (19-7, 4-2 NJAC), who have won five straight matches.
Rowan led the first game 5-4, before Staszewski stepped to the service line and served 17 consecutive points. The string is the third longest streak in Division III history since the NCAA went to 30-point rally scoring in the 2001 season. Staszewski also added four service aces and five solo blocks in the match.

STACEY JOHNSON (Paterson, NJ/Passaic County Tech) had six kills and six digs for Montclair State (10-9, 2-4 NJAC), which was coming off a three-game sweep at the Kings Point Invitational on Saturday.
Rowan's Katie Heslin (Norristown, PA/Norristown Area) had 18 digs while freshman Joelle McNulty (Collegeville, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick) collected 35 assists.
JENNIFER OLAN (Jersey City, NJ/McNair Academy) had 12 assists for the Red Hawks.
