Glassboro, NJ - Junior Earlee Agee scored a game high 19 points for Rowan as they defeated Montclair, 76-69 in New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Basketball action in Glassboro on Saturday afternoon.
Forward Derek Mosley came off the bench for 15 points while center Evan Johnson added 12 for Rowan (18-5, 11-5 NJAC).
PIERRE MITCHELL (Newark, NJ/Eastside) hade a team high 17 points for the Red Hawks (17-5, 11-5 NJAC).
MICHAEL GLUCK (Union, NJ/Union) added 14 second half points.
The Red Hawks trailed by two, 28-26, at the half after seven lead changes and seven ties in the first twenty minutes of play.
MSU's last lead occured with 10:38 remaining as Gluck hit two of his 14 points in the second half. The Red Hawks then trailed by as much as 10 points, before narrowing the gap to two with 2:52 remaining with a
MICHAEL DAVIS (Atlantic City, NJ/Atlantic City) layup. Rowan then used a 6-1 run to build a seven point margin and seal the victory.
Montclair State will be back in action on Wednesday in the Panzer Gymnasium with a 8:00 pm start against local rival William Paterson.
