Wayne, NJ (02/04/03) - The Montclair State University men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept William Paterson University tonight in their final dual meet of the 2002-03 campaign. The MSU men won, 115-106, to improve to 6-5 overall and complete their first winning season since 1995-96, while the MSU women triumphed, 117-89, to improve to 8-5 overall (2-2 NJAC).

Sophomore COLLEEN GRIFFIN (Bloomfield, NJ) won the Women's 50 Free (25.72 seconds) and the Women's 100 Free (56.72), while sophomore SHANE SCHWARZ (Monmouth Beach, NJ) won the Men's 200 Fly (2:09.33 minutes) and also claimed the Men's 500 Free (5:21.30). MSU is now off until the Metropolitan Championships on Feb. 21-23 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
