AMY SNYDER (Cranford, NJ/Union Catholic) scored 14 points and was one of four players in double figures as Montclair State remained unbeaten with a resounding 80-40 victory over Clarkson University in NCAA Division III Women's Basketball action on Panzer Gymnasium on Tuesday afternoon.

EBONY ALLEN (Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson) added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Red Hawks, who improved to 9-0 and are off to their best start since the 1990-91 season (10-0). Montclair State was playing its first game in 24 days. MSU had not played since December 13 when it captured the Winter Classic at Penn State-Behrend.
Erika Fritjofson (East Barre, VT/Spaulding) had 11 points for the Golden Knights (2-7), who were completing a three-game road trip in the last four days.
The Red Hawks led for all but the first two minutes of the game as Fritjofson scored on a jumper 14 seconds in.
PAM BARONE (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa Academy) gave Montclair State the lead with a three-pointer for a 5-2 lead and MSU built a 14-7 advantage with 15:19 to play as Allen sank a short turn-around.
SHIKEENA LYNARD (Carney's Point/Penns Grove) hit a three-pointer to extend the lead to 24-12 and Snyder's jumper from the left side put Montclair State in front, 36-16 with 4:47 before half. MSU led 42-21 at halftime.
AMANDA MULLANEY (Brooklyn, NY/Bishop Ford) posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds for Montclair State, which outrebounded the Golden Knights, 52-37, including 24 offensive boards. Freshman center
STEPHANIE MACHIN (New Providence, NJ/New Providence) had 10 points and seven rebounds.
Linda Fernandez (Kennebunkport, ME/Kennebunkport) had nine points, four rebounds and four assists for Clarkson, which shot just 27 percent (16-of-59) from the field, including 2-of-12 from three-point range. The Golden Knights also committed 23 turnovers.
