York, PA - The Montclair State men's basketball team had their four-game winning streak snapped on Friday with a 78-72 loss to Buffalo State in the opening round of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament at York College.

The win by the Bengals avenged a 74-55 loss to Montclair in the championship game of the MSU Tip-Off Tournament on November 22.

PIERRE MITCHELL (Newark, NJ/East Side), scored 16 points, including 11-of-11 from the free throw line. KEITH DUNCAN (Rahway, NJ/Newark East Side) added 15 points while DUQUAN EVERETT (Orange, NJ/Orange) added 12 points and six rebounds.
