Pomona, NJ (10/26/04) - The Montclair State volleyball team closed out their regular season on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 loss to Richard Stockton. Sophomore
ASIA LIVINGSTON collected six kills in the match.
The Ospreys (21-7, 6-1 NJAC) won by game scores of 30-20, 30-23, 30-22. Stockton won its third consecutive match and dealt the Red Hawks (7-24, 2-5 NJAC) their fourth straight loss.
Whitney Verduin pounded a team-high 18 kills and Kim Dalton added nine kills and five blocks. Setter Kate Hahn dished 38 assists and scooped eight digs while Colleen Bachmann lifted a team-high 19 digs for the Ospreys.
HEATHER ACIZ also slammed six kills and setter
ELYSE GRYWALSKI handed out 15 assists for the Red Hawks.

Despite the loss, the Montclair State will head to the NJAC Tournament which begins on Tuesday, November 2. The Red Hawks will be the No. 6 seed and will face third-seeded Rutgers-Newark in the opening round. The winner advances to the semifinals on Thursday, November 4 at No. 2 seed Richard Stockton.
