Pomona, NJ (11/04/04) - The Montclair State volleyball team saw its 2004 season come to an end on Thursday evening as the Red Hawks were eliminated from the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament with a 3-0 loss to No. 2 seed Richard Stockton in the semifinals.
Richard Stockton, who defeated Montclair State for the second time in nine days, won the three games, 30-18, 30-24 and 30-15. The Red Hawks finished the year at 8-25.
TIFFANY ACIZ, playing in her final match for Montclair State had 10 kills to go along with six digs. Aciz finished the season with 380 kills, six shy of the Red Hawk single-season record held by Jill Gastelu. The performance also left the senior with her name on several of the Top 10 career lists, including kills (3rd - 860), assists (8th - 420), aces (9th - 123) and digs (5th -727).
