BRIAN SHADIACK (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) posted four assists at the Montclair State University mens lacrosse team remained unbeaten with tonights 11-7 victory over visiting SUNY Farmingdale at Sprague Field.
MSU improves to 5-0 on the season, while Farmingdale falls to 2-3 this spring.

BRIAN FISCHER (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) and senior
CHRIS MEIXNER (Hamburg, NJ/Vernon) all tallied two goals apiece for the host Red Hawks, while freshman attacker Joe Meola (Rocky Point, NY/Rocky Point) paced the visiting Rams with three goals.

ALAN ANNAZONE (Fair Lawn, NJ/Fair Lawn) made 15 saves for MSU, while junior Anthony Sheridan (Bellmore, NY/Mepham) finished with eight stops for Farmingdale. The Red Hawks held the edge in shots, 33-30, and were 3-for-12 on man-advantage opportunities, while the Rams went 0-for-9 with the extra man. The teams combined for 30 penalties totaling 25 minutes, 30 seconds.

RICH DOYEN (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) pulled the Red Hawks even at 3:45. Della Pesca then tallied three consecutive goals and Fischer added one to put Montclair up, 5-1, at the end of the first quarter.
Farmingdale would pull to within 5-4 with 8:06 remaining in the first half, before Gondres scored for a 6-4 MSU halftime advantage. Junior attacker John Vaeth (Merrick, NY/Calhoun) pulled the Rams to within 5-4 with his goal just 45 seconds into the third quarter, before the Red Hawks tallied three straight goals spanning the third and fourth periods for a 9-5 lead and held on for their fifth win of the year, all at home.
The Red Hawks open their road campaign and their 2004 Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference slate on Saturday, March 27, when they visit Manhattanville College at 1:00 p.m. in Purchase, NY. Farmingdale hosts Plattsburgh on Sunday, March 28, at 1:00 p.m.
