Jersey City, NJ (9/27/05) - The New Jersey City University women's volleyball team received 20 kills, 15 digs, four blocks, and a spectacular .533 hitting percentage from sophomore middle blocker Lizzelle Cintron and 10 kills, two aces, and a .444 percentage from freshman outside hitter Jacqueline LeBlanc, and posted its first-ever three-game sweep of Montclair State University, 30-18, 30-9, 30-17, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference match at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
NJCU (10-4, 3-0 NJAC) wins its sixth consecutive match to remain unbeaten in the conference, knotted with Richard Stockton College for first place in the league. For the Red Hawks (6-8, 1-3 NJAC), the loss is the third in four matches. MSU leads the all-time series, 16-4 since 1989, but NJCU has won three of the last five meetings.

HEATHER ACIZ had a team-high seven kills (7-5-26, .077), with five digs and two aces. Sophomore setter
MELISSA CIACCIO dished 13 assists.
