JOHN ADAMS each won a pair of events as the Montclair State men's swimming and diving team posted a 110-79 win over Vassar College on Wednesday evening. The Red Hawks (7-3) won seven of the 12 events contested in the meet.
Miller won the 200 freestyle and 200 fly as he recorded times of 1:55.12 and 2:09.19, respectively. Adams added wins in the the 50 freestyle (22.74) and the 500 freestyle (5:09.70).
RYAN GORSKY took first in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:08.90 and
AHMED ABDELAAL led a 1-2 finish in the 100 freestyle. Abdelaal posted a time of 54.02 just edging out
JEFF MCTERNEN (54.03).
MATT GUIDI took first place in the 200 backstroke (2:07.94) and the Red Hawk 400 medley relay team won their event with a time of 4:00.53.
Montclair returns to action on Saturday, January 21 as both teams head to Wayne, NJ to take on backyard rival William Paterson at 1:00 pm.
