BRYAN KLIMCHAK (Clark, NJ/AL Johnson) had a goal and an assist, but it wasn't enough as Montclair State dropped its second straight contest falling to 15th-ranked Cabrini College, 7-4 on Saturday evening.

THOMAS BOWERS ( Hamburg, NJ/Pope John XXIII) made 28 saves as the Red Hawks fell to 8-5 on the season.
Scott Reimer paved the way for the win scoring four goals and one assist as the Cavs, who are also ranked fourth in the NCAA Division III South regional rankings behind Salisbury, Gettysburg and Lynchburg improved to 11-2.
Cabrini jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period as B.J. Kletcheck scored with 9:28 left and Reimer netted the first of his four goals with 6:06 remaining as the Cavs took a 2-0 lead. Reimer collected his second with 59 seconds to go to give Cabrini the three-goal lead.
A.J. Bachman (Montville, NJ/Mountain Lakes) got Montclair State on the board as he scored off a Klimchak assist with 10:36 left in the second period to make the score 3-1. Pat Grenier responded for Cabrini as he scored with 22:25 left as the Cavs led 4-1 at intermission.
The Red Hawks opened up the third period with back-to-back goals by
JOHN SCHIAVONE ( Montclair, NJ/ Montclair) and Klimchak to cut the lead to 4-3 with 12:30 left in the period. Reimer bagged his third goal of the game on a man-advantage to make it 5-3. Montcair answered with a goal from
JOHN DELLA PESCA ( Fair Lawn, NJ/ Fair Lawn) at the 6:36 mark and Cabrini held a slim, 5-4 lead going into the fourth.
Reimer gave the Cavs' a two goal cushion when he opened the fourth with his fourth goal to make it 6-4 with 13:46 left to play. Reimer then fed Casey Grugan to make it 7-4 with 8:51 and MSU could not get any closer.
Montclair State returns to action on Monday, April 23 as they travel to Union, NJ to face Kean University in its final Skyline Conference contest. The winner of the game will lock up the No. 3 seed in the Sklyine Conference Tournament and face Kings Points in the opening round which gets underway on Wednesday, April 25.
