Junior forward Christy Barbetto ( Hammonton, NJ / St. Joseph) had a goal for Richard Stockton, which concluded its season at 4-15, 0-6 in the league.

Montclair State jumped out to an early 1-0 lead 5:06 into the contest as junior MELISSA BUTTRAY (Lincoln Park, NJ / Lincoln) scored off a rebound. It was the first goal of the season for Buttray. MSU would extend the lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute as DIANA COLOMBO ( Westampton, NJ/ Rancocas Valley) deflected in a shot from MEGAN WALSH ( Lumberton, NJ / Rancocas Valley) for her eighth goal of the season as the Red Hawks took the two-goal advantage into the half.

The second half opened up with three goals in the first 7:38 of the period. Hagel scored the first of her two off an assist from Flaherty at 36:07, and Stockton got on the board just over three minutes later when Barbetto registered her fifth of the year to make the score 3-1. But Montclair State would answer back on Hagel's second of the game and seventh of the year to boost the lead back to three with 27:22 remaining.

DiPaolo, who assisted on Hagel's score, then set up MEGAN PIETRUNTI ( Middletown, NJ / Red Bank Catholic) at 46:20 as Montclair went up 5-1. Flaherty capped the Red Hawks scoring with 45 seconds to play as she converted a DiPaolo pass for her third of the year.

Sophomore goalkeeper Debi O'Kane (Cologne, NJ / Absegami) made 12 saves in the first 55 minutes for the Ospreys before giving way to Christine Harvey (Edgewood, MD / Aberdeen), who made two in the final 15 minutes.
