CORA DELFINI (New Egypt, NJ / New Egypt) added four goals of her own as second-seeded Montclair State advanced to the championship game of the Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament with a 19-9 victory over Mount St. Vincent at Sprague Field on Wednesday afternoon.

LAUREN ADAMS (Jackson, NJ / Jackson Memorial) added three goals as the Red Hawks (8-9) move on and face top-seeded Farmingdale State in the title game on Saturday, May 2 in Farmingdale, NY. The winner earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.
Farmingdale won the first meeting between the teams, 14-10 in Long Island on April 4. It was Montclair's first loss to a Skyline opponent - regular-season or tournament - since the conference's formation in 2006. MSU has won all three Skyline championships.
Junior Kelly Martin (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) and senior Jenna McColgan (Lynbrook, NY / Malverne) had three goals apiece for Mount St. Vincent, which fell to 9-7 with its second loss to the Red Hawks this season. The Dolphins also fell to MSU 21-9 at home on April 15.
Montclair jumped out to a 1-0 lead as
MEGHAN SPITZER (Mount Olive, NJ / Mount Olive) scored 15 seconds into the game. Martin countered for CMSV with an unassisted tally at the 2:33 mark, but Montclair reeled off the next four goals to take a 5-1 lead. Delfini netted two just over a minute part and goals by

After the Red Hawks went up 8-2 with just over 20 minutes to go, McColgan scored back-to-back tallies, the second with 15:30 left as Mount St. Vincent cut the deficit to 8-4. A goal by Jessie Mitchell (Suffern, NY /Suffern) got the Dolphins within 11-7 with 6:53 remaining, but
JAMIE HUDACKO (Montville, NJ / Montville) began a half-ending four goal run as Montclair led15-7 at the break. DiBendetto,

CHRISTINA CROSSIN (Milford, CT /Lauralton Hall) stopped five shots as she played the final 37 minutes of the contest. Karen Laurent (East Elmhurst, NY / St. John's Prep) had six saves and Jackie Horn (Setauket, NY / Ward Melville) five for the Dolphins.
Montclair State outshot Mount St. Vincent, 37-23 in the game. Kristen Quigley (Mount Laurel, NJ / Lenape) had five ground balls and three caused turnovers for MSU while Hudacko posted four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Adams added four ground balls while Delfini and Henderson collected three ground balls apiece.
Mitchell had six draws and four ground balls for the Dolphins.
