Montclair, NJ (2/24/10) – Sophomore attack
TYLER METH (Basking Ridge, NJ / Ridge) scored six goals and added an assist while
PATRICK NANN (Livingston, NJ / Livingston) collected three goals as Montclair State raced past Moravian College, 20-5 in the season opener for both teams on Wednesday afternoon.

ROBERT SINICOLA (North Caldwell, NJ / West Essex) added a goal and four assists as the Red Hawks used a pair of six-goal runs in the first in winning their second straight season opener following four consecutive years of falling in the first game.
Junior attack Christopher Mohapp (Jamison, PA / Central Bucks South) had a goal and assist as the Greyhounds took an early 1-0 lead in the contest.
Mohapp gave Moravian the early one-goal advantage 74 seconds into the contest as he connected on an unassisted tally. Montclair would answer right back as
KEVIN DYER (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) scored the first of his two goals with 12:32 left to start the first of MSU's six-goal run.
GREG FITZGERALD (Glen Ridge, NJ / Glen Ridge) put MSU in front 50 seconds later and Dyer's second made it 3-1 midway through the period. Sinicola assisted on Meth's first goal with 5:20 to play and
RYAN KLOSS' (Flemington, NJ / Hillsborough) first collegiate tally gave Montclair a 5-1 advantage. Nann capped the run and a goal by Moravian's Nelson Knudsen (Charletown, RI/The Prout School) made the score 6-2 Montclair after one period.
Meth scored twice to open the second quarter, the second one a man-up tally as Montclair widened its lead to 8-2 with 9:48 to play. Six minutes would go by before the Red Hawks connected again, this time a man down.
PATRICK FERRY (Clifton, NJ /Clifton) picked up a ground ball and raced down the field before flipping a pass to Nann, who flung a shot over his back shoulder into the back of the net as the Montclair State lead was 9-2 with 3:42 remaining.
KEVIN BARNES (Long Valley, NJ / West Morris Central), Nann and Meth each scored in the final three minutes as the Red Hawks led 12-2 at the break.
Dyer finished with two goals while Barnes added a goal and two assists.
MIKE CORSETTO (Kinnelon, NJ / Kinnelon) contributed three assists for MSU, which outshot the Greyhounds 41-16. Senior goalkeeper
ANDREW ROSADO (Elmwood Park, NJ / St. Joseph's (Montvale)) made five stops in the first 48 minutes before giving way to
MARK GLANDER (Vernon, NJ / Vernon) who stopped two shots in the final 12 minutes.
MARC GUIDO (North Caldwell, NJ / West Essex) was successful on 12-of-16 faceoff attempts with four ground balls.
David Bennett (Easton, PA / Easton) and Michael Falco (Succasunna, NJ / Roxbury) each had goals for Moravian. Junior Benjamin Leavy (Moorestown, NJ / Moorestown) had eight saves in 45 minutes of work while Michael Birnbaum (Sparta, NJ / Sparta) saved three in one quarter of play.
Montclair State is back in action on Saturday, February 27 as they hit the road for a 12:00 pm matchup against Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Moravian is back home on the same day to take on McDaniel College at 1:00 pm.
