Gianna Moglino (Holmdel, NJ, Holmdel) scored the first and the last goal for top-ranked Montclair State as the Red Hawks got past Richard Stockton, 3-1 in an NJAC matchup on Saturday afternoon.

Jennifer Tafro (Little Falls, NJ, Passaic Valley) had a goal for the Red Hawks, who improved to 16-1 on the season, 4-1 in the NJAC as the Red Hawks pulled within a half-game of The College of New Jersey for first place. Montclair will face Kean on Tuesday, October 29 in Union and with a win can clinch the league's regular-season title and No. 1 seed in the NJAC Tournament which begins on Wednesday, November 6.
Moglino snapped a scoreless tie at the 20:22 mark of the first half flipping a shot past the goalkeeper for her 13th goal of the season and a 1-0 Montclair State lead that was extended in the second half as Tafro blasted a feed from
Emily Burd (Newton, NJ, Newton) into the back of the cage giving the Red Hawks a 2-0 advantage.
Stockton cut the margin back to a goal 72 seconds later however Moglino scored again with 12:17 to play smacking in a centering pass from senior
Brooke Hullings (Delran, NJ, Delran).
MSU outshot the Ospreys 15-3 in the game.
