Lucas Terci (Union, NJ, Union) had a goal and assist and 11th-ranked Montclair State got scoring from
Ryan Morris (Freehold, NJ, Freehold Township),
Mike Olla (Bloomfield, NJ, St. Benedict's Prep) and
Brian Cullen (Clementon, NJ, Highland Regional) lifting the Red Hawks to a 4-0 win over City College of New York at MSU Soccer Park on Monday.
Junior
Maxx Wurzburger (Glen Rock, NJ, Glen Rock) had a pair of assists for MSU, which upped its record to 7-0 on the year as they downed CCNY (0-5-1) for the fourth straight time and 15th time in 16 overall meetings.
Morris put Montclair on the board 8:42 into the contest as he took advantage of a failed clear from Beavers' goalkeeper Maxwell Berkow chipping a shot in from 45 yards out for his third of the season and a 1-0 Red Hawk advantage.
Despite outshooting CCNY 14-2 in the opening period that would be the only goal Montclair State would get in the first 45 minutes however the Red Hawks quickly added to the lead scoring twice in a 19-second span during the first three minutes of the second half.
Wurzburger set up Terci for the first goal at 46:55 and then assisted on Olla's goal giving the Red Hawks a 3-0 lead. It was the first goal of the season for Terci while Olla netted his team-leading sixth of the year.
Cullen accounted for the final goal with 22 seconds remaining knocking in a cross pass from Terci for his fourth goal of 2013.

Kevin Lynch (Cinnaminson, NJ, Cinnaminson) made one save in the first 76 minutes before freshman
Michael Gonzalez (Kenilworth, NJ, Union Catholic) finished up with a spotless 14 minutes of action.
MSU outshot CCNY 31-4 and had a 12-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Montclair State returns to action on Saturday, September 21 with one of the toughest in-season matchups in its history as the Red Hawks head to Grantham, PA to face top-ranked and defending Division III national champion Messiah College at 7:00 pm. The game will be shot on NSCAATV.
