Courtney Matlock (Jackson, NJ, Jackson Memorial) registered 16 kills however it would not be enough as Montclair State dropped its New Jersey Athletic Conference match to Ramapo College 3-1 at the Bradley Center on Tuesday evening.

Rebecca Matasker (Washington Township, NJ, Westwood) added six kills with
Melissa Terpstra (Midland Park, NJ, Midland Park) and
Hayley Merrill (West Windsor, NJ, West Windsor-Plainsboro South) each adding five as the Red Hawks fell to 14-6 overall, 1-2 in the NJAC. Montclair took the first set 25-23 before losing the next three 25-17, 25-12 and 25-17.
Senior setter
Angela Campo (Washington Township, NJ, Westwood) recorded a double-double with 36 assists and 15 digs along with a pair of service aces. Terpstra led Montclair with 19 digs while libero
Lily Scanzillo (Upper Saddle River, NJ, Northern Highlands) had 13 digs in addition to five assists.
Montclair State is back in action on Thursday, October 2 hosting Hunter College at the Panzer Athletic Center beginning at 6:00 pm.
