SAGE BENNETT scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds leading four players in double figures as No. 23 Montclair State snapped a two-game losing streak with a 78-50 victory at Haverford College on Monday evening.

KIARRA DILLARD had 12 points apiece as the Red Hawks put together nearly four identical scoring periods in upping its record to 5-3.
MSU never trailed in the contest and exploded off the opening tip with the game's first 15 points. Junior
ZOE CURTIS put Montclair on the board 1:13 into the game and Bennett followed with three-pointer 22 seconds later. Curtis added a second basket before three consecutive field goals by Bennett made the score 13-0 with 5:19 to go.
TIARRA DILLARD capped the run with a layup 23 seconds after as the Red Hawks led 21-11 after one quarter.

TIARRA DILLARD pushed the lead to 33-17 with 4:18 left in the second and Krauss gave Montclair its largest advantage of the half at 41-21 on a three-pointer with 1:49 remaining. Bennett and Krauss had 12 and 11 points, respectively in the half as Montclair State led 41-23 at the break.
TAYLOR HARMON had 11 points in a reserve role for Montclair, which got eight points from Curtis and six points from
TIARRA DILLARD. Sophomore
KATIE SIRE led MSU with 12 rebounds and also had three assists and six steals. Sophomore
KATE TOBIE chipped in with four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Montclair State returns home for an NJAC matchup against Rowan University on Wednesday, January 6 at 6:00 pm. Both teams enter the game at 5-0 in the league.
