Buffalo, NY – For the second straight year, Messiah College ended the Montclair State women's soccer season as the Red Hawks fell to the Falcons 2-0 in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship at Buffalo State on Sunday.
MSU closed out a 15-4-3 campaign with their fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance and seventh overall. Each time Montclair reached the second round.

MOLLY BARROW stopped nine shots for Montclair, which was outshot in the game 16-4. Messiah also held the edge in corner kicks, 3-1.
The Falcons (19-2) snapped a scoreless tie with 14:14 left in the first half as Kayla Deckert recorded her first goal of the year. Lily Shover took a free kick from the left wing putting the ball into box on the right side where Deckert headed it back across inside the left post for the 1-0 lead.

Barrow stopped two more shots but Marisa Weaver added an insurance goal with 8:45 remaining ripping a shot inside the right post.
