Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State men's soccer team bounced back in a non-conference game with 7-1 victory against Alfred University on Tuesday evening.

The Red Hawks, (11-5-1) struck first in the opening minute with a goal by senior defender JUSTIN CLANCY, with goalkeeper MIKE SAALFRANK picking up the assist, his second of the season. Forward RAFAEL TERCI extended the lead to 2-0 in the 11th minute with the first of his two goals .Zachary Gloskin scored the Saxons (4-8-1) lone goal three minutes before half-time trimming Montclair's lead to 2-1.

Terci netted his second goal of the game fifteen minutes into the second period, giving him nine on the campaign. Wing-back STEFAN KOROMAN was also involved scoring team's fourth goal in the 63'. Junior midfielder KEVIN SIMEK scored two minutes later assisted by senior MIKE TARANTO. 

Simek completed his brace in the 73' from freshman Chaz Burnett, while midfielder Kevin Bacon scored team's final goal in the 81'.

Montclair State hosts New Jersey Atlantic Conference rivals Rutgers-Newark on Saturday October 21, at MSU Soccer Park with 12 pm kickoff.
