New York, NY – The Montclair State volleyball dropped both of its matches on Saturday as the Red Hawks fell to in-state rival FDU-Florham in three sets before suffering a 3-1 loss to host Hunter College.
The Red Hawks fell to 12-16 on the season after losing to FDU-Florham for the second time this season, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-21. Freshman
SIYARA HERBERT led the Red Hawks with 13 kills along with nine digs.
JILLIAN WILSON added five kills with freshman
MEGAN O'ROURKE totaling 31 assists along with eight digs.
NATALIA MAJKUT posted 10 kills along with three blocks and four digs in the loss to Hunter. Herbert added five kills and nine digs with Wilson getting four kills along with four blocks. O'Rourke put up 26 assists and four digs while libero
LILY SCANZILLO led MSU with 23 digs.
Montclair State is back in action on Tuesday, October 24 heading to Jersey City, NJ to face the Gothic Knights of New Jersey City University. First serve of the NJAC matchup is set for 7:00 pm.
