Ewing, NJ - The Montclair State women's soccer team lost in the New Jersey Atlantic Conference final, 1-0 against The College of New Jersey on Saturday evening.
The Red Hawks (10-5-5) faced the Lions (18-0-0) for the sixth time with the conference title on the line on Saturday and were defeated by the No.1 seeded TCNJ, 1-0 to end their season.
Hannah Richman scored the winner in the 69' after Jessica Goldman left to right cross. TCNJ's out-shot MSU 15-3 with six shots on goal, while the Red Hawks managed zero shot on goal. The Lions earned their first conference title since 2013, while clinching the 2017 NCAA Tournament bid.

As for Montclair State, the squad will learn whether they did enough to sneak in the NCAA Tournament on Monday at 1:00 PM.
