CASEY PROVOST scored twice and assisted on two other goals as Montclair State rolled to a 17-2 victory over Rutgers-Camden in the regular-season finale for both teams at Sprague Field on Saturday.

FRANCESCA VERRONE collected a hat trick for the Red Hawks (11-5), who finished their league slate at 4-2 clinching the No. 2 seed in the NJAC Tournament which begins on Wednesday, May 3. Montclair will host third-seeded Rowan University at 4:00 pm in the semifinals.
Jessica Mayer and Nicole Martin each had a goal for the Scarlet Raptors, who finished their season at 5-11 (0-6 NJAC).
The Red Hawks jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the contest.
AVIANA PARAGGIO scored 56 seconds into the game and Provost tallied two minutes later.
CHELSEA ORBAN connected on an unassisted tally with 26:17 left and
NATALIE BADE scored off a feed from Provost 24 seconds later making the score 4-0.
MEGAN MAHLSTADT set up Verrone for a goal before getting one herself to cap the run with 22:07 to go in the first half.
Martin broke the run by MSU, who then scored three straight, the last by Verrone with 10 minutes left in the opening period. Mayer countered for the Raptors however Montclair ran off the final three goals for a 12-2 halftime lead. Provost added another assist on Orban's goal with senior
EMILY WONG finding the back of the net with 5:56 to play. Natalie
Bade recorded the final goal with just over two minutes remaining before halftime.
Orban and Mahlstadt each finished with two goals and one assist with Paraggio and Bade scoring twice apiece.
KYLE GRAVER recorded a goal and two assists while
JESSICA ANDREULA registered a pair of assists. Senior
NICOLE WINTERS had four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Verrone led the Red Hawks with four draw controls and keeper
AMANDA MAGUIRE stopped five shots.
