Ewing, NJ – The Montclair State women's lacrosse team grabbed a two-goal lead early in the first however top-ranked and top-seeded The College of New Jersey scored the final 11 of the contest for an 11-2 victory in the NJAC Women's Lacrosse Championship at Lions Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

FRANCESCA VERRONE each tallied once for Montclair Statate, which was making its second straight conference tournament finals appearance. MSU finished the season at 12-6.
Paraggio gave the Red Hawks a 1-0 lead 2:10 into the contest as she finished off a feed from
KYLE GRAVER. Verrone made it 2-0 six minutes later before the Lions (15-1) got on the board as Mia Blackman scored with 2:16 left in the first.
Allie Gorman tied the game with 18 minutes to play and TCNJ took the lead with 12 minutes to go as Alex Fitzpatrick scored with the Lions a player-up in the game.
New Jersey held that 3-2 advantage into the break and quickly stretched it to 5-2 seven minutes into the second as Kathleen Jaeger and Amanda Muller recorded goals. Muller added a second with 21:33 remaining and Jaeger's second with 16:10 pushed the lead to 7-2.
AMANDA MAGUIRE had six saves for the Red Hawks while
LEANNE MCCLOSKEY,
GRACE CONLON and Verrone forced two turnovers each.
