RYAN ADZIMA was efficient with his throws going 5-for-10 for 102 yards. Three went for touchdowns as

The Captains suffered their first loss of the season last week, 33-30 to No. 11 Frostburg State in a turnover-plagued contest (8 total). Quarterback K.J. Kearney threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns in the back-and-forth contest that was decided on a Frostburg touchdown with 2:23 left in the game. Brennan Gary, the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week led CNU with 14 tackles and also intercepted a pass. Tyrell Noel added an INT with Chris Coggins posting two sacks.
This will be the third meeting between the Red Hawks and Captains. Last year, CNU returned the favor with a 28-21 overtime victory in Newport News, VA.
