Montclair, NJ – The Montcair State women's lacrosse program will be conducting a series of camps and clinics throughout the summer.
The Red Hawks will conduct a youth camp from June 25-28 (Monday-Thursday) from 8am-12pm each day. The camp is designed for girls ages 6-14 of all skill levels. Each camper needs to provide their own stick, goggles and mouth guard.
The weekend of June 29-30, Montclair will host a 7v7 tournament at Sprague Field. Registration starts at 5pm on Friday with a college level practice at 6pm and college recruiting talk at 8pm. The morning of June 30th will be 7v7 games starting at 9am. Each team can carry 10 players including a goal keeper. Female lacrosse players in grades 9-12 are encouraged to attend. The clinic will give players the opportunity to see what it's like to go through a college type practice/training experience. The clinic will include up-tempo stick skill training, defensive footwork drills, goaltender specific training and game situation analysis for all players.
Montclair will hold its Prospect Day on August 12
th from 12pm to 5pm at Sprague Field. It is designed for high school students grades 9-12. Head Coach Nicol Parcelluzzi and her coaching staff, along with current Montclair State players will be instructing and coaching during the clinic.
MSU will also hold Summer League which will run Monday evenings beginning June 4 through July 30 with a make-up date set for August 6. The league is for 2018 high school graduates, collegiate and post-collegiate players.
