Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State women's basketball team limited Bethany College to just 14 points in the second half en route to a 71-29 victory in the MSU Holiday Tournament Saturday.
The Red Hawks (6-4) will play York College (Pa.) in the Championship Game tomorrow at 3 p.m. York knocked off Hartwick College 51-46 in the other matchup, and the Hawks and Bison (2-8) will meet at 1 p.m. in the Consolation Game.

Bethany was just 5-of-28 (17.9%) from the field in the first 20 minutes, with both sides forcing eight turnovers. Carter led all scorers in the first half with 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 2-of-4 from three.
The Bison scored six of the first eight markers of the third quarter to bring the game to within single digits, but a fast-break layup in transition by Carter with 4:!7 left helped Montclair State pull away from the scrappy Bison.
