Montclair, NJ - After a week off, Montclair State returns to action with another long road trip. The Red Hawks head to Upstate New York and Geneva for a matchup with Hobart College.
MSU bounced back from its season-opening loss with a 28-11 victory at Salve Regina back on September 14. Quarterback
JA'QUILL BURCH threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns in the game while the Red Hawk defense held the Seahawks to 217 total yards. Montclair put points on the board on their first possession of the game as Burch found

MIKE MANZO-LEWIS and hit
KASON CAMPBELL for a 44 yards as MSU led 21-5 at halftime.
CRAIG MERKLE capped off the Red Hawks' scoring with a 71-yard run. Montclair intercepted three passes in the game.
Hobart improved to 3-0 as it edged Montclair State's conference rival Rowan University at home last week, 20-17. The Statesmen scored the final 17 points capped off by a 28-yard field goal by Kyle Hackett as time expired. Trailing 17-3, Ryan Hoffman threw a pair TDs to tie the game in the fourth quarter. A fumble recovery helped set up the game-winning drive. Hoffman completed 26-of-59 passes for 380 yards. Mike Giacobbe had seven receptions for 112 yards while Jake Catalioto pulled in nine for 89 yards.
This will be the first meeting between the teams.
