Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State men's soccer team dropped its second straight contest as the Red Hawks fell to host Johns Hopkins, 2-0 in the JHU Invitational on Sunday.

MICHAEL MEJIA stopped three shots for MSU (3-2). The Blue Jays (3-1) got on the board in the 23rd minute as Alejandro Maclean scored off an assist from Axel Whamond.
Whamond extended the lead to 2-0 at the 54:29 mark of the second half with his third of the season.
Johns Hopkins outshot the Red Hawks 19-10 in the match.
The Red Hawks will look to get back on the winning track on Monday, September 9 when it hosts CCNY at MSU Soccer Park with kickoff set for 7:00 pm.
