Field Hockey: Gameday Preview vs. Ramapo

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State field hockey team hosts Ramapo College in New Jersey Athletic Conference play Wednesday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks were edged by Lebanon Valley College 2-1 on Saturday. Rookie TORI SUTERA scored the lone goal for the Red Hawks in the 37th minute off a feed from CARLIE VAN TASSEL. Goalkeeper LAUREN PICKUL tallied three saves in the setback from Montclair.

SCOUTING RAMAPO
The Roadrunners are 9-3 on the year but are coming off a 2-0 setback to No. 3 Kean last Tuesday. Goalkeeper Michelle Kukan made a season-high 12 saves in the setback.

LAST MEETING
Montclair knocked off Ramapo 2-0 in their last meeting on November 1, 2019. In the eighth minute, LINSEY CHAMPA collected the game-winning goal as ELIZABETH CIMILLUCA assisted on both Red Hawk goals. In the victory, KATELYN OSTERLIND posted a defensive save while Nicole Andriani made a pair of stops in the cage.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is a perfect 17-0 all-time against Ramapo and are outscoring the Roadrunners 70-6 in those 17 games.
