Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State volleyball team closes out the NJAC regular season with a road match against New Jersey City University Tuesday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (17-10, 6-1 NJAC) were topped by Stevens in three sets and Catholic in four on Saturday afternoon. Montclair State had set points in both the second and third frames against Stevens but could not put the Ducks away. They claimed the first set against Catholic but fell by two, two, and four points in the final three.

NJCU REPORT
The Gothic Knights are 13-9 overall but 1-6 in the NJAC. They have dropped three consecutive matches, including a pair at the Scranton tri-match Saturday. NJCU fell in Wilkes in five sets before getting knocked off by Scranton in straight sets.

LAST MEETING
Montclair downed NJCU 3-0 in their last meeting on March 4, 2021. LEAH HIGGINS tallied 11 kills and nine digs, while CARLY WATERMAN posted 10 kills and nine digs in the victory.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 30-8 all-time against the Gothic Knights, including 12 consecutive victories. The Red Hawks have only dropped one set in the 12 matches. NJCU's last victory came on September 25, 2008, when they won 3-0.
