Montclair, NJ - The Red Hawks are back at Sprague Field for the final time in the regular season on Saturday as Montclair State hosts Rowan on Senior Day.
Montclair State is back in action following a week off. The Red Hawks fell at Christopher Newport, 28-0 in its last outing on October 16. Running back Makai mickens rushed for 74 yards and
ERIC COWAN had six catches for 52 yards for Montclair State. Linebacker
DORIAN GASHI had seven tackles for MSU with

AUSTIN SMITH (one sack) and
BRENNAN RAY (interception) each recording six.
John Maldonado caught six passes for a career-high 153 yards and scored the go-ahead touchdown, and the Profs' defense picked off four passes, as Rowan (1-5; 1-3 NJAC) defeated William Paterson, 25-10, on Homecoming for its first victory of the year. Kicker Jake Hurler tied the school record for field goals made with four in the contest and quarterback Mike Husni was 14-for-22 passing for 212 yards and one touchdown, while he ran for another. The Rowan defense limited William Paterson to its lowest point total of the year, led by 12 tackles and one interception from linebacker Mike Mascioli, and two interceptions from safety Malachi Winters.
This will be the 60th meeting between the Red Hawks and Profs in a series that dates back to 1949. MSU leads 35-24 and has won 12 of the last 17 meetings, including a 24-17 win in Glassboro the last
time the teams met in 2019.
