Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State swimming and diving teams host Vassar College in their first home meet of the year on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks tallied their first of the season last Friday. The women's team topped Moravian 248-23, while the men's side knocked off Drew 151-137 and Moravian 238-20. On the men's team, rookie

HANNAH GEIB took home first in two events for the women.
AWARD SEASON
Rocheleau made it two straight weeks a Red Hawk swimmer was named NJAC Rookie of the Week. She nabbed first in the 100-breaststroke (1:09.82) and 100-IM relay (1:02.73) to join classmate
ABBY BROCK as Rookie of the Week winners.
VASSAR REPORT
The Brewers men's team is sitting at 1-1 on the year, knocking off Bard 96-46 before falling to Brandeis 182-89 last Saturday. The women's team also is 1-1, winning 104-48 against Bard and losing 146-121 versus Brandeis.
LAST MEETING
The women's team fell to Vassar 171-122 on January 29, 2020. Margaux Winchock won the 50-freestyle (25.91) and 100-butterfly (1:01.6) while also winning the 200-medley relay (1:53.62) in the setback. The men's side was edged 152-146 on the same date, as
SAMUEL GOLOVIN won three individual events and relay. He notched first in the 200-free (1:47.05), the 100-free (49.54), and the 100-butterfly (54.01).
SERIES HISTORY
The men's team is 17-3 all-time against Vassar, having picked 16 consecutive meet wins from 2003-2019. The largest margin of victory in those 20 meets came in 2017 when MSU won 126.5-73.5. The women are 1-2 against the Brewers, with the lone victory coming in 2001.
