Field Hockey: Gameday Preview vs. Lebanon Valley

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State field hockey team hosts Lebanon Valley College Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
On Wednesday, the Red Hawks knocked off defending New Jersey Athletic Conference Champions William Paterson by a 3-0 margin. CARLIE VAN TASSEL opened the scoring 50 seconds in before adding her second marker in the 47th minute. LINSEY CHAMPA capped off the scoring with a tally in the 58th minute.

SCOUTING LVC
The Dutchmen are 4-8 overall but riding a two-game winning streak. On Wednesday, they knocked off Juniata College 1-0 on a third-quarter goal from Abbie Keath. Goalkeeper Corinne Kearney earned her third shutout of the season by making three saves.

LAST MEETING
Montclair topped LVC 4-0 on September 4, 2016. Amber Haslett scored twice while Arielle Galgano and Kelly Watson each tallied a goal and an assist.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 2-0 all-time against LVC, notching wins in 2015 and 2016. In the two victories, Montclair is outscoring the Dutchmen 7-0.
