Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's basketball team hosts DeSales University on Saturday afternoon.

In their season-opener on Thursday, the Red Hawks knocked off Brooklyn College 91-68. IRVING CALLENDER IV notched a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds as STEVEN BREEMAN added 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting. Breeman also shot 3-for-3 from three while rookie GREG ECK led the defensive unit with three steals.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs are 2-0 on the year, knocking off Hood on Monday 78-74 before topping Rosemont 75-60 Wednesday. In the Rosemont win, Jordan Holmqvist tallied 14 points while Dat Lambert notched 12 points and three steals.

LAST MEETING
In their only previous meeting, DeSales notched an 86-74 triumph over MSU inside Billera Hall on December 18, 2019. Jalen Parham tallied a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds while Justin Porter
notched 10 points and eight boards.
