Swimming and Diving: Meet Day Preview vs. Rowan

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State swimming and diving teams host Rowan University in New Jersey Athletic Conference action on Saturday.
 
MEET INFO
The meet will begin at 12 pm in the Panzer Pool, with live video available on montclairathletics.com and the Red Hawk Sports Network YouTube Channel.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks swept Vassar inside the Panzer Pool Saturday. The men's team won 160-135 while the Rowan earned a 162.5-135.5 win. SPENSER DUBOIS and BRANDON DO won two events and placed second in two others, while AMBER ROCHELEAU had two wins on the women's side. LIDIA BOGUSLAWSKA also earned a victory while adding a pair of second-place times.
 
AWARD SEASON
Rocheleau was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week for the second straight week, while BRANDON DO and ALEX PALLEN were chosen as the NJAC Rookie of the Week and NJAC Diver of the Week, respectively, on the men's side.
 
ROWAN REPORT
The Profs men's team is 1-0, winning 182-70 against York on October 23, while the women's team is 2-0 with wins over York and Kean. Jordan McChesney led the Profs with two individual wins and two relay victories in the victory over Kean. At the same time, Joe Rucci was tabbed NJAC Swimmer of the Week on October 25 after winning two events in the victory over York.
 
LAST MEETING
The women's team fell to Rowan 226-71 on November 8, 2019, with Madison Franke recording a pair of second place-times. The men's team fell 163-69 on the same date, as SAMUEL GOLOVIN notched two second-place times.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The men's team is 0-39 against Rowan all-time, while the women's team is 9-40. Their last victory came in 2015 when they won 165-115. Kathleen French won three individual events as the Red Hawks captured 11 events in the victory.
 
UP NEXT
The women's team will host Kean University on Tuesday before the two teams will compete at the three-day Franklin & Marshall Invitational on November 19-21.
