Montclair, NJ – The No. 23/14 Montclair State women's lacrosse team looks to make history as they host No. 15 The College of New Jersey in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Game. The winner earns the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship.

Montclair State (8-0) punched its ticket to the NJAC Championship Game with a 20-10 win over Stockton Wednesday. The Red Hawks received seven goals from

ALLYN LILIEN made 16 saves to earn the victory. The Lions (6-2) knocked off Rowan 19-12 in the other semifinal matchup Wednesday. TCNJ trailed 3-1 and 5-3 before breaking the game open with seven straight markers.

POSTSEASON HISTORY:
The Red Hawks are 3-6 in the NJAC playoffs and have advanced to a pair of NJAC Championship Games but are looking for their first win. TCNJ is looking for their 11
th NJAC title and have won 11 of 12 championships contested. Their lone loss came in 2010, when Rowan knocked them off.
SERIES HISTORY (TCNJ leads 22-1)
The Red Hawks earned their first ever win against the Lions earlier this season, winning a 10-9 thriller. The win snapped a 22 game and 41 year skid, and
ALLYN LILIEN matched the school-record with 25 saves. The two sides have met twice before in the NJAC Championship, with TCNJ winning 10-6 in 2016 and 11-2 in 2017.
