VALIANTS REPORT
Manhattanville comes into the match with a 4-1 record and has won four consecutive games. After losing to NYU in three sets to open the year, the Valiants have picked up wins against Lycoming, La Roche, William Paterson, and Baruch. Grace Ballagas and Ayla Ruiz gained recognition from the Skyline Conference, getting named Libero and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

The Red Hawks picked up a 3-0 win on October 4, 2019, in the last week against Manhattanville. LEAH HIGGINS and CARLY WATERMAN combined for 19 kills as the Red Hawks held Manhattanville to a .039 hitting percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair State leads the overall series 14-2 against the Valiants. The last Valiant came victory came on September 2, 2017, when they won in four. Four of the previous five matches between the schools have gone four sets, and the Red Hawks had reeled off 12 consecutive wins from 1993-2015 before the 2017 setback.
