The Red Hawks picked up a sweep of Kean in New Jersey Athletic Conference action Thursday evening. The first and third sets were tightly contested, but the Red Hawks ran away with the middle period, winning by a convincing 25-10 margin.

ROWAN REPORT
Rowan comes into the meeting with a 7-3 record, including a 1-0 mark in the NJAC. The Profs swept Rowan in the NJAC opener in three sets and were led by 12 kills from Brianna Newson. On Saturday, Rowan split a tri-match at Eastern, falling in the opening match to the host Eagles before knocking off Goucher in three.
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks downed John Jay 3-1 on October 7, 2017. Jillian Wilson paced the team with eight kills while Lily Scanzillo chipped in a team-high 17 digs. Montclair picked up a 3-0 win over Wilkes in their last meeting on October 24, 2015. Courtney Matlock led the way with 15 kills, while sister Kimberly Matlock handed out 41 assists over the three games.
SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are a perfect 10-0 all-time against John Jay. In the 10 matches, they have only dropped two sets and just one since 2005. Montclair is 5-5 against Wilkes and has won the last four games. Wilkes won five consecutive meetings from 2002-2005 for their longest winning streak.
