LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks swept a tri-match against John Jay and Wilkes on Saturday. In the 3-0 win over John Jay, CARLY WATERMAN led the way with 10 kills while rookie LEAH CHIPMAN handed out 29 assists. Sophomore SKYLAR KOWALSKI chipped in four blocks in the victory. Montclair faced off against host Wilkes in the nightcap, taking down the Colonels in three frames behind 17 kills and 14 digs from Waterman.

RUTGERS-NEWARK REPORT
The Scarlet Raiders are 2-7 on the season but are coming off a win over NJCU last week. The four-set win snapped the Gothic Knights six-match winning streak and held NJCU to a .147 hitting percentage. Sharon Sterling paced RU-N with 11 kills.
 
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks downed Rutgers-Newark 3-0 on October 22, 2019, in their last meeting. They held their opponents to just 38 points over the three frames and a -.097 hitting percentage. GIANNA ARIAS led the team with 11 kills, while SIYARA HERBERT contributed four aces.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair trails the all-time series 24-20 but has won nine of the last 10 games in the rivalry. The lone win for Rutgers-Newark during the stretch came in 2017 when they won in four.
