Volleyball: Gameday Preview vs. Rutgers-Newark

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State volleyball team hosts Rutgers-Newark Tuesday evening.

GAME INFO

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (11-11, 3-4 NJAC) split a tri-match at Drew Saturday. They swept Sarah Lawrence behind 12 kills and 10 digs from SKYE RAMSEY before falling to Drew in straight sets.

SCOUTING RUTGERS-NEWARK

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 21-24 against Rutgers-Newark, including wins in the last four meetings. The Scarlet Raiders previous victory came in four sets on September 21, 2017. They have not won at Montclair State since October 17, 2006.

LAST MEETING
Montclair picked up a 25-13, 25-7, 25-18 triumph in Newark on September 28 last season. LEAH HIGGINS led the Red Hawks with 11 kills as KATELYN MONAGHAN picked up 17 digs in the win.
