Montclair, NJ – The No. 10/10 Montclair State men's soccer team battled Rutgers-Camden to a scoreless draw Saturday.

The Red Hawks (12-1-4, 7-0-1 NJAC) outshot Rutgers-Camden (6-7-6, 3-2-3 NJAC) 14-5, with both sides notching three shots on target.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Scarlet Raptors registered the first chance, as Christian McCartney's 13th-minute shot was saved by SHANE KEENAN, who went diving to deflect the opportunity.
  • The Red Hawks had their best chance midway through the frame, with JOSIAH CRAWFORD getting loose in the box and uncorking a shot that was punched away by Sean Boen. 50 seconds later, DONOVAN DAVIS' attempt off a corner glanced off the post, and the game remained tied.
  • Crawford had another shot with 11 minutes to go, but Boen snared it, and the two sides entered the half scoreless.
  • Keenan was tested early in the second half, rejecting a low shot from Liam Craver in the 50th minute. The matchup was tightly contested in the midfield, as the two teams managed just three shots on frame over the last 45 minutes.
  • Keenan and Boen each made an additional save late in the game as both keepers earned the clean sheet after the final whistle.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
