Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State swimming and diving teams visit Vassar College Saturday afternoon.

MEN'S LAST TIME OUT
The men's team topped Drew 148-132 Saturday. They placed second in the 200-medley relay before Ryan
Kappes, and
SEAN NUGENT went 1-2 in the 1,000-freestyle.
Kappes clocked in at 10:17.78, with Nugent behind him at 10:24.91.
SPENSER DUBOIS had a victory in the 100-breast, as he edged teammate
BRANDON DO by a mere .03 seconds. Dubois finished at 1:00.72, with Do behind at 1:00.75.
LUCAS GOMES registered a winning time of 21.91 in the 50-free. Gomes made it two victories in the sprints as he claimed the 100-free in 48.09. DeLargy picked up a win in the 200-back (2:03.13) before Dubois (2:14.52) and Do (2:15.08) went 1-2 in the 200-breaststroke. Nugent was victorious in the 500-free, as he notched a time of 4:58.55. Do capped off the victories for Montclair State with a time of 2:03.98 in the 200-IM.
WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT
The women's team knocked off Drew 160-136 Saturday afternoon. Sophia
Shopovick put the Red Hawks in the win column in the 100-backstroke, as she notched a time of 1:02.04 before
ABBY BROCK won the 100-breaststroke in 1:10.17.
ROURKE PERALTA clipped Grace Aboussleman in the 50-freestyle. Peralta touched the wall in 24.89, .4 seconds quicker than her opponent.
EMMA BOWERS and
AUDREY HITCHENS went 1-2 in the 1-meter dive before Peralta (100-free) and Sophovick (200-back) tallied second place times.
CATTY GEYER won the 200-IM cap off victories for MSU, as the team finished off the day with a second-place time of 3:48.61 in the 400-freestyle relay.
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair State is 18-3 on the men's side, and the women's team is 2-2. Both teams recorded wins against Vassar last season, as the men's team had won 16 consecutive meets against Vassar from 2003-2019.

The Red Hawks visit Rowan University on November 5, with the meet scheduled for 12 pm.
