Volleyball: Gameday Preview vs. Arcadia

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State volleyball team hosts Arcadia in non-conference action Thursday evening.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (8-8, 2-3 NJAC) notched a 3-0 win over NJCU for their third consecutive victory. CARLY WATERMAN led the team with 12 kills, while DELANEY ST. PIERRE notched a double-double of 24 assists and 10 digs.

HIGGINS 1K
Outside hitter LEAH HIGGINS became the seventh student-athlete in program history to record 1,000 kills in the win over NJCU. Needing six kills to hit the mark, Higgins hit the milestone late in the first set.

Montclair State is 3-0 against Arcadia, winning 3-1 in 1999 and 3-0 in 2006 and 2008.

LAST MEETING
Montclair won 25-16, 25-10, 25-21 on September 20, 2008. Devon Johnston paced the Red Hawks with 10 kills as Raisa Silva posted a double-double of 31 assists and 10 digs.
