Volleyball: Gameday Preview vs. No. 9 Wisconsin-Whitewater

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State volleyball team hosts No. 9 Wisconsin-Whitewater in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (9-8, 2-3 NJAC) rallied to top Arcadia 3-1 Thursday evening. After dropping the first set, the Red Hawks battled to win the next three to claim the match. LEAH HIGGINS (11 kills and 14 digs) and DELANEY ST. PIERRE (34 assists and 10 digs) posted double-doubles in the victory.

Outside hitter LEAH HIGGINS became the seventh student-athlete in program history to record 1,000 kills in the win over NJCU Tuesday. Needing six kills to hit the mark, Higgins hit the milestone late in the first set.

SCOUTING WISCONSIN-WHITEWATER
Wisconsin-Whitewater enters the matchup with a 19-3 record, including a 4-0 mark in the WIAC. At the NYU Fall Tournament, they topped MIT Friday before splitting on Saturday. They fell to host NYU before rebounding to top Swarthmore 3-1.
